Talent Acquisition Specialist – Staffing Agency
Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our
growing staffing agency team. In this role, you’ll recruit qualified candidates across multiple
industries and job types, build strong talent pipelines, and match top candidates with our clients’
hiring needs. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and
enjoys connecting great people with great opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire placements.
-
Source and screen candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and internal databases.
-
Conduct phone and video interviews to evaluate skills, experience, and culture fit.
-
Present qualified candidates to account managers and client hiring teams in a timely manner.
-
Coordinate interviews, provide feedback, and facilitate the offer and onboarding process.
-
Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
-
Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for recurring and high-demand positions.
-
Develop relationships with candidates to understand their career goals and ensure long-term satisfaction.
-
Collaborate with account managers to understand client needs, job requirements, and urgency levels.
-
Represent the agency professionally and promote a positive employer brand in all interactions.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field (or
-
equivalent experience).

2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a staffing or agency environment.

Demonstrated success sourcing and placing candidates across a variety of roles and
-
industries.
-
Strong knowledge of recruiting tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed,
-
ZipRecruiter, etc.).
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
-
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple open requisitions.
-
Proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience recruiting for administrative, call center, or professional services roles (or specify your agency’s focus).

Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage client and candidate expectations.
-
Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in staffing.
-
A proactive, high-energy attitude with a passion for helping people find meaningful work.
